Finding the Heart of the Sea could be very difficult if one does not happen to know the efficient techniques of it. In the game, there are certain treasure maps, that can be found in the chests located in ocean ruins, and shipwrecks.

In Minecraft, Dolphins can lead players to any structure with a chest, when fed raw cod or raw Salmon. Usually, Dolphins lead players to ocean ruins and shipwrecks in the ocean, where the treasure maps can be found inside the chests.

A treasure map shows the location of the Heart of the Sea, which is found inside the chest near a sandy shore. There, players have to dig out the chest from the ground or under the sand. Sometimes, it can be found touching the water on its one side. When found, a blue globe like item can be collected from inside the chest. This blue item is known as the Heart of the Sea.

How to use the Heart of the Sea?

In the game, the Heart of the Sea can only be used to craft Conduit. A Conduit is a beacon-like structure that gives certain effects to players and kills the nearby mob, when activated under the water. 

When activated, Conduit gives "Conduit Powers" to players within its range. The effects include increasing the oxygen level, night vision effect (to see better underwater), and speeding up the mining speed underwater.
