Fans seem to be surprised every time MrBeast gives out massive sums of money, no matter how much he does so.
When people hear MrBeast's name, they almost always think of his famous giveaway challenges. Typically, he would ask friends, family, or fans to complete a challenge in exchange for obscene sums of money. Even though this has been a daily occurrence for the YouTube sensation, it still surprises fans. The most recent example of this was on MrBeastGaming, where a Minecraft competition took place. In just one hour, players had to work together to build a country inside the game. One lucky team member was selected to win $30,000 after all of the entrants were judged.
People from all walks of life participated in this Minecraft competition, which included some well-known YouTubers as well as regular fans. The goal was to work together to create a "nation" that would impress MrBeast in some way. The details were, as usual, a little hazy, so fans got to work doing whatever they felt was best.
The challenge drew a total of 1000 participants, divided into ten teams of 100 each. Tommy Innit and ItsFundy are two notable characters who both led their respective teams to victory. The ten countries were built at the same time on equal-sized plots of land, and different themes emerged during the construction process. The overall winner decided to create a nation entirely based on famous cartoons, leaving only a small portion of their plot undeveloped.
This SpongeBob-themed world had a lot of SpongeBob features, and the judges confess to being a little biassed towards cartoons. Despite the fact that MrBeast only gives the country an 8 out of ten, the other two judges award it a perfect ten. This gives the nation the highest score of 28 points, earning the team $30,000 in prize money. MrBeast then explains that only one team member will receive the $30,000 reward, so he devises a game to decide who will receive it at random.
Despite the fact that the team started with 100 members, some of them dropped out during the challenge, leaving just 78. MrBeast made a grid out of 78 different types of blocks and then put one of them in his inventory. The remaining 78 team members sat on separate blocks, and when MrBeast announced which one he had, that player won the $30,000 prize. The fortunate winner was a player called SuperCuber, who accepted the prize money in a humorously calm manner.
Minecraft is also available on mobile, PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
