The 1.16.221 hotfix update for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is now available, and it aims to fix the PS4 loading screen bug.

Fixes for bugs:

  • When paintings are placed, they become visible once more.
  • After upgrading on PS4, some instances of the game not launching past the loading screen were fixed.
  • When trying to set friend permissions on a Realm on initial invite, a soft lock occurred.
  • A crash that could happen during gameplay has been fixed.
  • When loading Behavior Packs containing GameTests, a crash may occur.
