One Block Minecraft is a Minecraft mod in which players start with a single block floating in the sky. After that, the player must dig up the same block for various materials.
When the player digs up the same block again, a new material appears in its place. The first two are dirt and wood, with the block generating rarer and more complex materials as the game progresses.

- The Plains is the first step of the game, and it frequently generates soil, wood, sheep, cows, chickens, villagers, and other common overworld mobs and materials.
- The player advances to the second phase after completing 700 blocks. Cobblestone, tar, iron ore, and basic evil mobs such as zombies, skeletons, spiders, and creepers make up the Underground.
- The third, fourth, fifth, and sixth phases are all devoted to learning about various biomes. Winter, Ocean, Jungle Dungeon, and Desert are among the biomes available.
- During these processes, biome-associated and normal blocks can be formed. Ocelots, polar bears, pandas, melons, and various log combinations are some of the prominent blocks and mobs from these four stages.
- The Nether is the seventh phase. Netherracks, netherquartz, soul sand, nether bricks, glowstone, and magma blocks can all be found here, as the name suggests. Nether mobs such as Withers, Blaze, Ghasts, and Zombie Pigmen can also be seen in the Nether phase.
- Phases 8 and 9 are as similar as they are diametrically opposed. There are two phases: Idyll and Desolation. The game prepares the player for the final phase by offering them both uncommon and common objects during these phases.
- The End is the final step, in which the player battles the Ender Dragon and wins the game.
