In Minecraft, Warden will be the first blind mob ever to arrive in the game. This mob is extremely dangerous since it lives in the darkness of deep caves, players can easily be attacked by Minecraft Warden.
How does the Warden appear?
Wardens are similar to iron Golems in proportions, however, these mobs are having two bluish antenna-like structures on each side of the head, called sculk-like sensors. And, it appears dark green to white and blue in colour.
Furthermore, a teeth-like design can be seen on his chest which glows when he detects the sound vibrations by sculk sensors. The blue light that glows inside the teeth like design, shows his heartbeat.
Since this mob is blind, he does not have eyes. However, he has a wide opened mouth with a black cavity inside.
Health and Attack
In terms of health and attack, Warden can be compared with iron Golem to some extent in Minecraft; however, it also differs in his own and unique ways.
In the game, Warden is having 84 health points or 42 hearts, which is a little bit lower than iron Golem. Nevertheless, he is having an incredible attack strength of up to 31 health points or 15.5 hearts per hit, which is greater than the iron Golem.
In a video posted on Youtube about a month ago, it was shown that a fully Netherite armoured guy took 6 hearts of the damage per hit, and in total it took 2 hits of the beast to finish the player in Netherite gear.
If players go near to him, Warden can attack them with poison, Wither effect, or other similar effects.
The Warden has a teeth-like design on his chest, which can be filled with blue hearts, and it shows his heartbeat. The bluish heart shows how stronger the mob is; hence, be careful when the mob is having full blue heart circles.
How to distract Warden?
In the game, Warden being blind, cannot follow the player in the usual way. Instead, he uses his senses to track down the location of his prey by using scalp-like sensors to detect or sense sound vibrations.
Therefore, projectiles such as snowballs and arrows can be used against the blind monster to distract him and dealing the damage or running away from the mob. By throwing projectiles, his attention can be drawn away from players, and it provides a chance for the players to sneak behind and land hits on him. Despite that, even that may not be enough to kill the blind beast.
Additionally, Mojang Studios admitted that this fearsome mob is not for fighting, but to scare off the players. A Warden cannot hear a player if they are sneaking or in a crouched position, since it avoids unnecessary sounds. But, if caught or tracked, a Warden runs at a very fast rate to attack his prey.
Where does the Warden spawn?
In Minecraft survival, a Warden is found in the deep caves. Its surroundings are filled with darkness. He can be found in the deepest caves, where scalp (decorative blocks found in deep caves) is found.
It is usually found at the lowest y level of the overworld, just above the Bedrock layer of the world.
When a Warden is nearby, all the light sources start to diminish periodically. Its contact with the area including light sources indicates the presence of the monster of dark and deep caves.
