Here comes Caves & Cliffs Part 1 Update - Release date, New Mobs and Blocks in Minecraft [ For Both Java & Bedrock ]

 As we all know that the long-awaited Caves and Cliffs update was set to release in two parts. And, this has caused Minecraft players to wait forever for the update. 

Nevertheless, the good news is that the first part of the update has been announced. Caves & Cliffs Part 1 is going to be released on June 8, 2021.

Here is what Mojang Studios announced about the platforms, "The update will be available for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10 – as well as Java Edition on Windows, macOS, and Linux."

What's coming in this update? 

Newly added Mobs:

As announced by Mojang Studios, this update will bring a lot of entertainment to the game. 

This update is supposed to bring colourful Axolotls,  as they said, "The good news is that the update also contains the gorgeous and very harmless axolotls unless you're drowned axolotls!" 

This update will also bring another fan favourite mob to the game. Yes, we are talking about Goats. These mountain warriors are also coming with 1.17 Caves and Cliffs update. 

This is not it. Something else is also heading towards the game. Minecraft officials have stated, "The glowing squid, a Minecraft Earth-exclusive creature, will also be gracing our seas!".

New Blocks:

In the new update, some interesting blocks and items are waiting for players, just to be discovered. Currently, we only know the names of some blocks i.e. Amethyst, Dripleaves, Copper Block. As they stated:

"All of them are available, from amethyst to dripleaves, as well as the much-anticipated copper block! This block shows its age after being placed in the environment, giving your builds a feeling of history and a more organic feel, similar to my referential comedy".

This is all we know at the moment for the summer update. While, the winter update, Caves & Cliffs Part 2, has not received a release date yet.
