Minecraft Dungeons And All The 9 Runes

 

Minecraft Dungeons comes under the category of action-adventure and role-playing video games. It was developed by the famous Mojang Studios, Xbox Game Studios and Double Eleven. The game released on the 26th of May, 2020 on Windows, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation; and, later, on November 10, 2020, it was released for the Xbox Series X|S.

Gameplay of Minecraft Dungeons

The game was originally planned for Nintendo 3DS, but ended up as a multi-platform game, just like the blocky Minecraft. In The game, players have to face the main antagonist Arch-Illager, in order to help villagers. Players are allowed to use a variety of weapons and other items. There are certain quests for the players to complete with interesting story and elements.

This game differs from Minecraft, because here players do not build or mine, but set off their journey on an adventure with a lot of action. In game, only 4 players can play simultaneously.

What are the locations of Minecraft Dungeons?

Minecraft Dungeons is set in the same world as Minecraft. In the game, players first start their adventure at Squid Coast. Then, they complete quests and move on to the next levels, ultimately reaching the final level of the game, Obsidian Pinnacle.

In the game, there are several secret locations and one of them is marked as "???", waiting for the players to be explored. The level "???" is a secret mission in the game. However, players can explore this secret location after defeating the Arch-Illager and collecting all 9 runes. Only after defeating the main antagonist, players can start this quest.

Therefore, today we'll be discussing the location of these runes and guiding players about their destinies after the completion of the Obsidian Pinnacle quest.

1. Creeper Woods - Rune No. 1

Near the caravan at the end of the level, go all the way to the left. A hole should appear that the player can reach. Within, at the platform's end, is the first rune.

2. Pumpkin Pastures - Rune No. 2

There are some crates and an area of stone bricks that are slightly darker on a stone brick wall. Behind the crates is a button that pushes the darker bricks out of the way, allowing entry. The second rune can be found at the platform's end.

3. Soggy Swamp - Rune No. 3

A massive tower-like structure stands to the right of the level's end. A button can be found at the base of some mushrooms. It opens a door in the cliff face when you activate it. The third rune can be found at the platform's end.

4. Redstone Mines - Rune No. 4

There is a hidden button on the far left side of the area where the player must free 6 villagers. The wall is opened by pressing it. The fourth rune is located at the platform's end.

5. Fiery Forge - Rune No. 5

A lever can be pulled on a wall to the right of the Redstone Golem when entering the first bright pathway at the beginning of the level to open a pathway in the wall. The fifth rune is located at the platform's end.

6. Cacti Canyon - Rune No. 6

A palm tree stands to the left of the entrance to the room where the blue Key Golem is collected. A button can be pressed behind it to open the wall behind the blue key. The sixth rune is located at the platform's end.

7. Desert Temple - Rune No. 7

There is a lever on the wall next to a bush and a palm tree in the room where the player collects the Key Golem. This lever is used to open a wall. The seventh rune is located at the platform's end.

8. Highblock Halls - Rune No. 8

An unlit torch acts as a lever in the outside "market" area, up the stairs on the far right, to open the wall. The eighth rune is located at the platform's end.

9. Obsidian Pinnacle - Rune No.9

Near a normally inaccessible room seen on the map, there is a bookshelf with a book that can be interacted with in the "study"-like area. It is a usual room with two chests, rather than a door to a purple environment with a platform like the other 8. The ninth rune is already accessible there.

The Secret Cow Level

When players successfully collect all 9 runes, they can now unlock the secret cow level. There is a golden button that resembles a cow face; it unlocks the room with two obsidian chests and one map. The map shows the secret or hidden level. It can be found in the northwest corner of the map, behind the Creeper Woods.
