These passive mobs naturally spawn in Jungle and Bamboo biomes. Most of the time, they spawn as adults, however sometimes as kitten also. They usually spawn above sea level (y=63) above grass blocks and leaves, in a group of 1-2.
Interesting Behavior of Ocelots

Ocelots are predators, they prey chicken and baby turtles. They can attack and kill their preys even through a fence or a door. In order to attack, they sneak and stalk their preys, before attacking.
Creepers are genuinely afraid of cats, and of course of the ocelots as well. When a creeper detects ocelot, he stays 6 blocks away from it. However, creepers can still blast if near to a player.
In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, Phantoms do not like ocelots. Hence, They remain 16 blocks away from an ocelot.
Ocelots do not take fall damage. But, they still avoid falling.
Players with invisibility effect can be seen by ocelots.
Ocelots trusting players
Ocelots like cats, run away from the approaching player. Hence, the best way to gain their trust is to hold a raw salmon or raw cod, and approach them while crouching. When successfully fed, ocelots may befriend you.
Ocelots that trust players do not despawn, when not near to the player.
Previously, ocelots could be tamed, but in update 1.83 it was removed.
How to breed ocelots?

In order to breed ocelots, first you have to gain their trust, and then feed them raw salmon or raw cod. Once fed, hearts will be shown as a signal that they are in love mode now.
After a few while, a new kitten will be born, who trusts the player as well.
Ocelots can be bred, until the cooldown time which is 5 minutes for one breeding.
Ocelots are wonderful mobs, they can be trusted and bred. If you want one for yourself, head toward the Jungle and Bamboo biomes.
